Owner In Pool
You get in the water alongside your dog. For dogs who look to their person for reassurance, having you within reach is worth more than any amount of technique — and for owners, it is a genuinely enjoyable half hour rather than a spectator sport.
Bring swimwear and a towel for yourself. Up to 4 dogs from your household are covered by the one £35 slot.
Swim Coach
One of our team is in the pool with your dog for the full 30 minutes, controlling the intensity, managing rests and guiding movement. You stay poolside, dry, and can watch how your dog is moving.
This is the better option for nervous or first-time swimmers, dogs rebuilding condition, and any session with a specific goal where the pace needs managing carefully.
Cost difference in context
The gap is £5 a session. For a confident dog having a fun swim that £5 buys very little; for a nervous dog, a dog with an old injury, or a session aimed at conditioning, it buys experienced hands in the water and is usually money well spent.
Using both
Many owners start with a Swim Coach session to establish confidence and technique, then switch to Owner In Pool once their dog is swimming happily. Others alternate — coach-led sessions when they want structure, owner sessions when they want fun.
