Booking, Paying and What Happens If You're Late

For owners ready to book who want to understand the practical side before they commit.

Once you've decided to try swimming, the next questions are practical: how do I book, how do I pay, and what if something goes wrong on the day? This page answers those in one place.

We're open seven days a week, 9am to 8pm, at Pompian Brow Farm in Bretherton.

Key points

  • Book online through our booking page or call 07359 881320.
  • Card or BACS payments give you a record, and confirmation arrives by email.
  • If you'll miss your slot, tell us as soon as possible — we may have space later.

Choosing the right session

Every session is private and lasts 40 minutes. Pick the type that fits your dog:

  • Owner In Pool — £35 (£55 two dogs, £70 three), you in the water
  • Group Classes — from £35, up to four dogs with friends
  • Weighty Woofers Club — £40 per dog, weight management
  • Swim Coach Session — £40, one dog, ideal for first swims

Paying safely

If you pay by card or BACS you'll have a record of your payment, and we'll send a confirmation by email. Keep that email handy on the day in case you need to check your time.

Before your visit

Make sure your dog is up to date with vaccinations. Dogs with an infection or skin condition can't use the pool, for the safety of everyone. If your dog has an injury or a chronic condition, check with your vet that swimming is suitable before you come.

Pack a towel. We provide life jackets and wetsuits, and you're welcome to bring treats and a favourite toy.

Arriving on the day

Arrive on time — our sessions are longer than the industry standard, and they run to schedule so every booking gets its full swim. Parking is free, and there's a dog field for a toilet break before you go in.

If you're running late or can't make it

We appreciate time can be tight. If you're going to miss your slot, let us know as soon as possible and we may have availability later. If you don't tell us, we can't help — so a quick call makes all the difference.

Our number is 07359 881320, and our email is info@westlancsk9splash.co.uk.

Coming back

Many owners book their next visit before leaving. Regular swimming — especially weekly for Weighty Woofers — is where most dogs see the biggest benefit.

Which session to book first

If your dog has never swum, the Swim Coach Session is usually the best first booking because a coach guides them in the water. If your dog already loves water and you want to join in, Owner In Pool is the natural choice. For friends travelling together, Group Classes make sense, and for a dog who needs to lose weight, Weighty Woofers Club offers a weekly routine with free weigh-ins.

Unsure? Give us a call before you book and describe your dog. We'll suggest the option that fits, so your first visit gets off to the right start.
