For multi-dog households deciding whether to swim their dogs together or separately.
Plenty of households have two or three dogs, and taking each one for a separate swim adds up in time and fuel. Our Owner In Pool session lets dogs from the same home share one private slot at a lower cost per dog.
This guide covers the prices, when swimming together works well, and when splitting them up is kinder.

Owner In Pool is priced by the number of dogs from your household in the booking. Adding a second dog costs £20 more than a single dog, and a third adds another £15.
Dogs that live together usually take comfort from each other. A more confident sibling can encourage a hesitant one down the ramp, and dogs that love retrieving can take turns with toys. You're in the water with them, so you can guide each dog directly.
It also means one journey, one set of towels and one drying routine afterwards.
Sometimes sharing isn't ideal. A young, bouncy dog can bump into an older dog who needs calm, gentle exercise. A dog recovering from an injury may need focused attention that's hard to give while another dog is splashing about. Resource guarding over toys can also flare up in the excitement of the pool.
In those cases, book the dogs one after another or on different days. For a dog who needs expert handling, a Swim Coach Session is one dog only, so the coach's attention is entirely on them.
Bring one toy per dog. Let the more nervous dog enter first so they aren't crowded. Watch for signs of tiredness — heavy breathing, slowing down, or trying to climb out — and give rests. Different dogs tire at different rates, so don't assume they all need the same amount of swimming.
Wetsuits are provided for you, which helps protect against scratches when several sets of paws are paddling close by.
Owner In Pool pricing is for dogs from the same household. If you want to bring a friend's dog, look at our Group Classes instead, which cover up to four dogs in a private slot.
Think about how each dog behaves in the car and on arrival. If one gets overexcited, let the calmer dog out first and use our dog field so both can settle before they see the water. A few minutes of sniffing around often takes the edge off.
Book at a time of day that suits the least tolerant member of the pack. An older dog who is stiff in the morning may swim better in the afternoon, while a young dog might be easier to manage before they have built up a whole day of energy.
After the session, dry each dog properly in the drying area before loading up. Several wet dogs in one car can make a surprisingly damp journey home.
