IS YOUR DOG STRUGGLING?
The Issues Treales Dog Owners Talk to Us About
Cold Weather Stops Play
When Treales weather turns cold and wet, outdoor exercise drops off. Our heated indoor pool means fitness never stops.
Weight Creeping Up
Over half of UK dogs are overweight. If your dog's waistline has disappeared, swimming burns 5x more calories than walking — with zero joint impact.
Limited Off-Lead Space
Not every Treales dog has access to safe off-lead fields. Swimming provides intensive exercise in a secure, enclosed environment.
Expensive vet bills and medication only manage symptoms. Swimming addresses the root cause.

WHAT SETS US APART
Why Treales Dog Owners Are Switching to Indoor Swimming
Rivers and lakes near Treales might look inviting, but they carry real risks — blue-green algae, strong currents, sharp debris, and unpredictable water temperatures. Our purpose-built pool eliminates every one of these dangers while providing a better workout.
At 28–32°C, our pool water is therapeutic as well as enjoyable. Dogs exercise harder, recover faster, and genuinely love coming back. That's why families from Treales make our pool part of their regular routine.
Full-Body Workout
Swimming engages every major muscle group simultaneously. 30 minutes in the pool equals 90 minutes of walking.
Year-Round Availability
Rain, snow, or heatwave — our indoor heated pool means your dog's exercise never depends on the weather.
Free Parking On Site
Pull up right next to the pool entrance at Pompian Brow Farm. No parking charges, no long walks from the car.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS
What Treales Dog Owners Want to Know
"What ages of dog do you accept?"
From 12-week-old puppies (after second vaccination) to senior dogs of any age. We adjust every session to your dog's ability. Some of our most enthusiastic swimmers are well into their teens!
"Can my dog swim if they're on medication?"
Usually yes — but always mention any medication when booking. Some medications may need timing adjustments around swimming. We'll check with you and advise accordingly.
"How much does it cost?"
Sessions start from just £35 for Owner In Pool and Group Classes, and £40 for Swim Coach and Weighty Woofers. Compare that to a vet hydrotherapy session at £50–80+ and you're getting outstanding value.
"Do you offer discounts for regular swimmers from Treales?"
Yes — we offer multi-session packages at a discount for regular swimmers. Ask about our package deals when you book. Many Treales dog owners find monthly packages the best value.
WHAT DOG OWNERS SAY
Trusted by Dog Owners Across Lancashire

Tracey G.
Staffordshire Bull Terrier, 12 years
"Brought our 14-week-old puppy for a first swim and the staff were amazing. So gentle and patient. She loved it and now we go every fortnight."
Amy L.
Miniature Dachshund, 14 weeks
"We tried an outdoor dog pool once and it was freezing, muddy, and crowded. This is the complete opposite. Warm, clean, private, and professional."
Rachel N.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Got Questions? We've Got Answers
Do you cater for older dogs from Treales?
Older dogs often benefit the most from swimming. The warm water eases stiff joints and the buoyancy means they can exercise without pain. We've had dogs well into their teens swimming with us regularly.
How does the pricing work?
Owner In Pool and Group Classes are £35 per 30-minute session. Swim Coach and Weighty Woofers are £40. No membership fees, no contracts — just book when you want.
Will my dog be the only one in the pool?
Yes. Every session is fully private. Your Treales dog never meets another dog during their swim, which is why we're a popular choice for reactive or anxious dogs.
Is swimming suitable for all dog breeds?
Yes — from tiny Chihuahuas to giant Great Danes, we cater for every breed. We adjust pool depth and use life jackets for brachycephalic breeds like French Bulldogs and Pugs.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes — sessions are by appointment only to ensure every dog gets private pool time. We recommend booking at least a few days ahead, especially for weekend sessions. Call 07359 881320 or use our online form.
How do regular swimmers from Treales schedule their visits?
Most regular swimmers from Treales book a standing weekly or fortnightly slot. This ensures they get their preferred day and time. We're flexible with rescheduling when life gets in the way.
What should I bring for my dog's first swim?
Just your dog and a towel — we supply everything else including life jackets and toys. If you're joining in an Owner In Pool session, bring swimwear too. We have a drying area on site.
