DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
The Daily Reality for Ainsworth Dogs Without Swimming
Ageing Without Support
Senior dogs in Ainsworth deserve better than shortened walks and a life on the sofa. Swimming keeps them mobile, engaged, and comfortable.
Hot Weather Exercise Limits
Summer heat makes exercising dogs from Ainsworth risky. Our temperature-controlled indoor pool is safe and comfortable in any weather.
Bored & Under-Exercised
A tired dog is a happy dog. If your Ainsworth pup is destructive, anxious, or pulling on walks, they're probably not getting enough exercise.
Sound familiar? Swimming solves all of these — safely and enjoyably.

WHAT SETS US APART
Why Ainsworth Dog Owners Are Switching to Indoor Swimming
Rivers and lakes near Ainsworth might look inviting, but they carry real risks — blue-green algae, strong currents, sharp debris, and unpredictable water temperatures. Our purpose-built pool eliminates every one of these dangers while providing a better workout.
At 28–32°C, our pool water is therapeutic as well as enjoyable. Dogs exercise harder, recover faster, and genuinely love coming back. That's why families from Ainsworth make our pool part of their regular routine.
Zero Joint Impact
Water supports 90% of body weight, making swimming the safest form of exercise for dogs of all ages and conditions.
Full-Body Workout
Swimming engages every major muscle group simultaneously. 30 minutes in the pool equals 90 minutes of walking.
Mental Stimulation
The sensory experience of swimming — water pressure, temperature, movement — provides intense mental engagement alongside physical exercise.

COMMON CONCERNS
Concerns? Let Us Put Your Mind at Rest
"Is it really better than outdoor swimming?"
Night and day. Our pool is heated to 28–32°C, filtered and treated for hygiene, has no currents or hidden hazards, and is available all year round regardless of weather. Plus it's completely private — no other dogs to stress yours.
"How does this compare to a vet hydrotherapy centre?"
Our sessions are £35-40 compared to £50-80+ at vet hydrotherapy centres. Our pool is the same quality — heated, filtered, purpose-built. For dogs needing rehabilitation, we're happy to work alongside your vet.
"Do you offer discounts for regular swimmers from Ainsworth?"
Yes — we offer multi-session packages at a discount for regular swimmers. Ask about our package deals when you book. Many Ainsworth dog owners find monthly packages the best value.
"What if my dog has health issues?"
We cater for all conditions — arthritis, hip dysplasia, obesity, post-surgery recovery, and more. We'll ask about your dog's health before their first session and tailor everything accordingly. We welcome vet referrals too.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Got Questions? We've Got Answers
Do you have experience with large breeds?
We regularly swim Great Danes, Newfoundlands, Irish Wolfhounds, and other giant breeds. Our pool is designed to accommodate dogs of all sizes with plenty of room to move.
Do you cater for older dogs from Ainsworth?
Older dogs often benefit the most from swimming. The warm water eases stiff joints and the buoyancy means they can exercise without pain. We've had dogs well into their teens swimming with us regularly.
How warm is the pool?
Our pool is heated to between 28°C and 32°C — warmer than most human swimming pools. This temperature is ideal for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors.
Can I watch my dog swim?
Absolutely. You can watch from poolside during Swim Coach sessions, or jump in yourself during Owner In Pool sessions. Many Ainsworth owners love watching their dog's progress from week to week.
What should I bring for my dog's first swim?
Just your dog and a towel — we supply everything else including life jackets and toys. If you're joining in an Owner In Pool session, bring swimwear too. We have a drying area on site.
What's the best time of day to swim from Ainsworth?
Quietest slots tend to be weekday mornings. Evenings and weekends book up fastest — Ainsworth owners working 9-to-5 should book 1-2 weeks ahead for those.
Can my dog swim if they've been neutered recently?
We recommend waiting at least 14 days after suture removal and getting the all-clear from your vet before swimming. The wound must be fully healed before entering the pool.
