RECOGNISE THE SIGNS?

Why Bleasdale Dog Owners Are Choosing Swimming

Nowhere Safe to Swim

Rivers and lakes near Bleasdale can be dangerous — strong currents, blue-green algae, hidden debris. Your dog deserves a safe, controlled environment.

Muddy, Dirty Outdoor Swimming

Tired of your dog coming home filthy from outdoor water? Our crystal-clear, filtered pool means your dog swims clean and stays clean.

Cold Weather Stops Play

When Bleasdale weather turns cold and wet, outdoor exercise drops off. Our heated indoor pool means fitness never stops.

Expensive vet bills and medication only manage symptoms. Swimming addresses the root cause.

WE HEAR YOU

Common Questions From Bleasdale

"Is the water clean and safe?"

Our water is continuously filtered and treated to exceed hygiene standards. It's crystal-clear at all times — far cleaner and safer than any river, lake, or outdoor dog pool you'll find near Bleasdale.

"What if my dog has health issues?"

We cater for all conditions — arthritis, hip dysplasia, obesity, post-surgery recovery, and more. We'll ask about your dog's health before their first session and tailor everything accordingly. We welcome vet referrals too.

"Is it suitable for rescue dogs?"

We've helped dozens of rescue dogs build water confidence. Our private, calm environment is ideal for dogs who may be nervous or have unknown histories. We go at their pace, with patience and kindness.

"Do you offer discounts for regular swimmers from Bleasdale?"

Yes — we offer multi-session packages at a discount for regular swimmers. Ask about our package deals when you book. Many Bleasdale dog owners find monthly packages the best value.

WHAT DOG OWNERS SAY

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything You Need to Know

Can my dog swim after eating?

We recommend waiting at least an hour after feeding before swimming — just like humans. This helps prevent discomfort and allows your dog to get the most from their session.

How do I book a session from Bleasdale?

You can call us on 07359 881320, fill in the enquiry form on this page, or email info@westlancsk9splash.co.uk. We're open 7 days a week, 9am–8pm.

What's the difference between Swim Coach and Owner In Pool?

In Owner In Pool sessions, you get in the water with your dog. In Swim Coach sessions, one of our trained team members is in the pool guiding your dog — ideal for rehabilitation, nervous dogs, or when you'd rather watch from poolside.

How long is each swimming session?

Sessions are 30 minutes of pool time. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early for your first visit so we can complete a quick health assessment.

Can my dog swim if they've been neutered recently?

We recommend waiting at least 14 days after suture removal and getting the all-clear from your vet before swimming. The wound must be fully healed before entering the pool.

Do you have experience with large breeds?

We regularly swim Great Danes, Newfoundlands, Irish Wolfhounds, and other giant breeds. Our pool is designed to accommodate dogs of all sizes with plenty of room to move.

Is there anything to do near the pool while we're in Bleasdale?

We're rurally placed near Preston, with quiet lanes and farmland walks within a few minutes. Some owners turn a session into a half-day out with their dog.
