Yes — veterinary practices across Greater Manchester refer patients to us regularly for post-surgery rehabilitation, arthritis management, and weight loss. We're happy to work alongside your vet to support your dog's health.
Do you have changing facilities?
We have a drying area for dogs and space for you to change if you've been in the pool during an Owner In Pool session. We also have towels available.
Is the pool chlorinated?
We use a professional water treatment system that keeps the water crystal-clear and hygienic without harsh chemical smells. Our system is far gentler on dogs' skin and eyes than traditional chlorinated pools.
Do you accept dogs with disabilities?
Yes — we welcome dogs with physical disabilities, amputations, and mobility challenges. Swimming is often the best exercise for these dogs because water supports their body and allows free movement.
How often should my dog swim?
For general fitness, once a week is brilliant. For weight loss or rehabilitation, twice a week is recommended. Even fortnightly sessions make a noticeable difference.
Is swimming suitable for all dog breeds?
