Inglewhite's Nearest Dog Swimming Pool
We're a small specialist pool — not a daycare with a pond. That focus is exactly why Inglewhite dog owners feel the difference from the first session.

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
The Issues Inglewhite Dog Owners Talk to Us About
Post-Surgery Blues
Recovering dogs need to rebuild muscle, but too much walking risks re-injury. Swimming is the vet-recommended solution.
Weight Creeping Up
Over half of UK dogs are overweight. If your dog's waistline has disappeared, swimming burns 5x more calories than walking — with zero joint impact.
Stiff Joints & Slowing Down
Older dogs in Inglewhite often slow down because walks hurt their joints. Swimming gives them exercise without the pain.
Sound familiar? Swimming solves all of these — safely and enjoyably.

WHY DOG OWNERS VISIT US
What Inglewhite Dog Owners Come to Us For
A Bonding Experience
Owner In Pool sessions let you swim alongside your dog — one of the most rewarding experiences you can share together.
Complementing Training Programmes
Dog trainers recommend swimming alongside behaviour work. A well-exercised dog is more focused and receptive to training.
Holiday Preparation
Taking your dog to the coast? Pool-confident dogs handle beaches and boats much better. Build water skills before you travel.
Professional Dog Walker Bookings
Dog walkers from Inglewhite bring clients' dogs for premium exercise. Swimming adds a service their competitors don't offer.
Year-Round Fitness Routine
Unlike outdoor exercise that drops off in winter, swimming keeps your dog's fitness consistent through every season.
Why Inglewhite Dogs Benefit From Regular Swimming
Dogs in Inglewhite and across Lancashire face the same challenge — Lancashire weather is unpredictable, outdoor exercise is weather-dependent, and muddy walks only go so far. Our heated indoor pool just 20 minutes away provides consistent, high-quality exercise regardless of conditions.

COMMON CONCERNS
What Inglewhite Dog Owners Want to Know
"Do I need to book in advance?"
We recommend booking ahead as sessions fill up, especially evenings and weekends. Call 07359 881320, fill in our form, or email us. We try to accommodate short-notice bookings when possible.
"How much does it cost?"
Sessions start from just £35 for Owner In Pool and Group Classes, and £40 for Swim Coach and Weighty Woofers. Compare that to a vet hydrotherapy session at £50–80+ and you're getting outstanding value.
"How do I know which session type is right?"
Owner In Pool if you want to swim with your dog. Group Classes for social, confident dogs. Swim Coach for nervous dogs, rehabilitation, or therapeutic sessions. Weighty Woofers for weight management. We're happy to recommend — just ask.
"Can my dog swim if they're on medication?"
Usually yes — but always mention any medication when booking. Some medications may need timing adjustments around swimming. We'll check with you and advise accordingly.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Practical Answers for Inglewhite Dog Owners
Is the pool available for birthday parties or special occasions?
We love celebrating milestones! Contact us about special occasion bookings. Many Inglewhite dog owners book celebration swims for birthdays or adoption anniversaries.
Do you have changing facilities?
We have a drying area for dogs and space for you to change if you've been in the pool during an Owner In Pool session. We also have towels available.
Are there any health conditions that prevent swimming?
Dogs with open wounds, active skin infections, untreated ear infections, or uncontrolled seizures should not swim until cleared by a vet. We're happy to advise if you're unsure about your dog's suitability.
What's the difference between Swim Coach and Owner In Pool?
In Owner In Pool sessions, you get in the water with your dog. In Swim Coach sessions, one of our trained team members is in the pool guiding your dog — ideal for rehabilitation, nervous dogs, or when you'd rather watch from poolside.
Can aggressive dogs swim?
Every session is completely private — your dog will never encounter other dogs. If your dog is reactive or anxious around other animals, our private sessions are the perfect solution.
How often should my dog swim?
For general fitness, once a week is brilliant. For weight loss or rehabilitation, twice a week is recommended. Even fortnightly sessions make a noticeable difference.
Is the pool hygienic?
Our pool water is continuously filtered and treated to the highest standards. We maintain strict hygiene protocols and the water is crystal-clear at all times. It's far cleaner than any river, lake, or outdoor pool.
