WHAT SETS US APART
Indoor Dog Swimming — The Smarter Choice for Liverpool
When Merseyside weather turns cold and wet — which, let's be honest, happens often — outdoor exercise drops off. Dogs get bored, gain weight, and develop behavioural problems. Our heated indoor pool means your dog's exercise routine never misses a beat, regardless of the forecast.
Every session is private, so your dog gets our full attention without the stress of other dogs. We provide life jackets, toys, and expert supervision. You just bring your dog, a towel, and 30 minutes of driving time.
Crystal-Clear Water
Our water is continuously filtered and treated to the highest standards. No mud, no algae, no hidden hazards.
Mental Stimulation
The sensory experience of swimming — water pressure, temperature, movement — provides intense mental engagement alongside physical exercise.
Expert Supervision
Every session is supervised by our experienced team who know dogs, understand behaviour, and prioritise safety.

WHY DOG OWNERS VISIT US
What Liverpool Dog Owners Come to Us For
Recovery From Illness
Dogs recovering from illness often lose muscle and fitness. Gentle swimming rebuilds strength safely without overexertion.
Holiday Preparation
Taking your dog to the coast? Pool-confident dogs handle beaches and boats much better. Build water skills before you travel.
A Proper Workout for High-Energy Dogs
Walks aren't enough for some breeds. Swimming burns 5x the calories in half the time — your dog comes home genuinely tired.
Fun Day Out Near Liverpool
Many Liverpool dog owners make swimming a weekly treat. The drive is short, parking is free, and dogs look forward to it.
Safe Exercise in Bad Weather
When Merseyside weather ruins outdoor plans, our heated indoor pool keeps your dog's exercise routine on track year-round.
What Makes Us Different for Liverpool Dog Owners
We're not a grooming salon that happens to have a pool. We're specialist dog swimming professionals. Every aspect of our facility — the water temperature, the ramp entry, the filtration, the session structure — is optimised for your dog's health and enjoyment.

WE HEAR YOU
Liverpool Owners Ask — We Answer Straight
"How do I know which session type is right?"
Owner In Pool if you want to swim with your dog. Group Classes for social, confident dogs. Swim Coach for nervous dogs, rehabilitation, or therapeutic sessions. Weighty Woofers for weight management. We're happy to recommend — just ask.
"Do I need to book in advance?"
We recommend booking ahead as sessions fill up, especially evenings and weekends. Call 07359 881320, fill in our form, or email us. We try to accommodate short-notice bookings when possible.
"Is it suitable for rescue dogs?"
We've helped dozens of rescue dogs build water confidence. Our private, calm environment is ideal for dogs who may be nervous or have unknown histories. We go at their pace, with patience and kindness.
"Is swimming tiring for dogs?"
Very! 30 minutes of swimming is equivalent to about 90 minutes of walking in terms of energy expenditure. Most dogs sleep soundly on the drive home to Liverpool and are calm all evening.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Dog Swimming Near Liverpool — FAQs
Do you cater for older dogs from Liverpool?
Older dogs often benefit the most from swimming. The warm water eases stiff joints and the buoyancy means they can exercise without pain. We've had dogs well into their teens swimming with us regularly.
Do you have experience with large breeds?
We regularly swim Great Danes, Newfoundlands, Irish Wolfhounds, and other giant breeds. Our pool is designed to accommodate dogs of all sizes with plenty of room to move.
What happens during the first session?
We'll do a quick health chat about your dog's breed, age, and any conditions. Then we introduce them to the pool gradually via the ramp. First-timers get extra settling-in time. Most dogs are swimming happily within minutes.
What's the difference between Swim Coach and Owner In Pool?
In Owner In Pool sessions, you get in the water with your dog. In Swim Coach sessions, one of our trained team members is in the pool guiding your dog — ideal for rehabilitation, nervous dogs, or when you'd rather watch from poolside.
Can I buy a package of sessions?
Yes — we offer multi-session packages at a discount. Ask us when you book or call 07359 881320 for current offers. Regular swimmers from Liverpool often find packages the best value.
What are your opening hours?
We're open 7 days a week, 9am–8pm. Evening and weekend slots are available so Liverpool dog owners can fit sessions around work and family.
Can I watch my dog swim?
Absolutely. You can watch from poolside during Swim Coach sessions, or jump in yourself during Owner In Pool sessions. Many Liverpool owners love watching their dog's progress from week to week.
