COMMON CONCERNS
Why Stacksteads Walks Alone Aren't Enough Anymore
Separation Anxiety
Dogs who don't burn enough energy develop anxiety. A 30-minute swim leaves dogs calm, content, and ready to relax at home.
Nowhere Safe to Swim
Rivers and lakes near Stacksteads can be dangerous — strong currents, blue-green algae, hidden debris. Your dog deserves a safe, controlled environment.

When Stacksteads weather turns cold and wet, outdoor exercise drops off. Our heated indoor pool means fitness never stops.
Sound familiar? Swimming solves all of these — safely and enjoyably.

THE DIFFERENCE
How Often Should Your Stacksteads Dog Swim?
Most dogs from Stacksteads settle into a weekly or fortnightly rhythm. Hydrotherapy and Weighty Woofers cases lean weekly. Fitness and fun-focused regulars often run fortnightly. There's no single right answer — only what fits your dog and your schedule.
The biggest mistake is treating swimming as a one-off treat. Real benefits — muscle, weight loss, joint comfort, behaviour — build with consistency, not intensity. A regular Stacksteads swimmer outpaces an occasional one every time.
Completely Private Sessions
No crowded pools, no stressed dogs — just your dog getting our full attention in a calm, controlled environment.
Year-Round Availability
Rain, snow, or heatwave — our indoor heated pool means your dog's exercise never depends on the weather.
Crystal-Clear Water
Our water is continuously filtered and treated to the highest standards. No mud, no algae, no hidden hazards.

Yes — veterinary practices across Lancashire refer patients to us regularly for post-surgery rehabilitation, arthritis management, and weight loss. We're happy to work alongside your vet to support your dog's health.

Hardly at all. We have a dedicated drying area on site and most dogs are touch-dry before they leave. Bring a towel for the back seat just in case.
